Welcome to this very special page of mine: my diploma film THE CURRENT. The film is a metaphorical portrayal of how a dysfunctional perfectionist with low self-esteem can experience criticism of their creative work. For THE CURRENT is still on festival tour, I cannot publish it yet. But here is a little sneak peak:

During a constructive feedback session, a small rabbit is put through its paces as if in an animal beauty contest. As soon as a negative point of criticism is heard, the helpless animal plunges out of the bright room into a dark, illusory nightmare world. Driven by the protagonist's increasing misinterpretation and selective perception, there it is tormented and hurt worse and worse by a fluid being. Not until the feedbacker asks his counterpart anxiously if everything is alright does she wake up from her self-destructive whirlpool of thoughts: The rabbit, which has just been brutally maltreated in the nightmare world, is suddenly sitting on its white pedestal again - frightened and breathing heavily, but completely unharmed.
